Palmas del Mar: Amenities  and Services

 

  • Palmanova Plaza: The large building that looks like a Spanish fort, houses restaurants, a bank, a beauty salon, real estate offices, a tour/van service, a few shops, a chiropractor and masseur, a psychiatrist, a med-spa practitioner, a post office and an attorney’s office

Restaurants:

  1. Blue Hawaii (Chinese,sushi)
  2. Flying Pizza (delivery)
  3. Chihuahua (Tex-Mex, bar)
  4. Pura Vida (Pasta, bar)
  5. La Brochette (Puerto Rican)
  6. C Bar (Gourmet, Continental, Bar)
  7. Hamburger  Grill (hamburgers, grilled food, local food, salads)
  8. Next to Palmanova- Café de la Plaza Restaurant (continental, outdoor dinning)
  9. Club Cala- local food, burgers

 

  • The Marina: Houses several restaurants and a shop, as well as charter boats for deep sea fishing, diving and snorkeling, and sailboats.

Restaurants:

  1. Chez Daniel (French, Brunch on Sundays)
  2. Las Tapas (gourmet hors’douvers, bar, outdoor terrace)
  3. Bistro Rico (Puerto Rican, sandwiches, Hamburgers, bar, outdoor dinning)

 

  • Golf: Two 18 hole golf courses are available at the Palmas Athletic Club, Restaurant and Bar- The Palm Restaurant (Continental, Latin)

 

  • Tennis: About 20 tennis courts are available at the Tennis center which also houses a restaurant and bar (Center Court-Light fare, Hamburgers, outdoor dinning) and a fitness center

 

  • The Beach Club: has a large pool and Jacuzzi for adults and a small pool for kids. Water slides for both are available and a restaurant and bar (light fare, hamburgers, outdoor dinning). Charge at the door to use facilities. 

 

  • The Yacht club:   Deck by the water, nice for sunset watching. Yachts and sailboats for hire.

 

  • The beach:  There is access to the beach by car parking in front of the Hotel and crossing the street and walking to the 3rd hole of the golf course.  At the beach in this area you will find The Beach Hut, a bar and restaurant (light fare) on a deck by the beach.  You can reach this location by golf cart driving up the 3rd hole next to the hotel and parking right on the beach.  There are another three accesses to the beach by golf cart, which are marked.  The beach access between Crescent Beach and Solarea will take you to the Point which is a calmer spot on the beach. (go left when you get to the beach).  Condo rentals:You can also walk from the condo to the right, past the Beach Club to reach the Point.

 

  • The Windham Garden Hotel has a restaurant, Amalgama, (Puerto Rican), David’s Cookies, wine bar (Circles) and a gambling casino

 

  • Los Lagos Club and Spa at Los Lagos (Gym, Pilates, Spinning)

 

  • Horse back riding at Hacienda Buena Vista

 

  • Golf cart and bike rentals at Target rent a car

 

NOTE: Most of the telephones of the restaurants and facilities listed herein can be found in the Palmas Directory included in these materials.  Also all of the facilities listed are within the resort (on location).

 

NOTE: The Beach Club, The Golf Club and Tennis Club are private facilities owned by the Palmas Athletic Club and charge entrance or usage fees which vary, The golf and Tennis facilities can be used by guests but there is an entrance fee. In addition the Beach Club allows guests as long as they have a pass signed by a member (we include in Rudy Realty’s folder the materials needed to get your pass from the Golf Clubhouse).  You also have to pay an entrance fee ($15 for adults and $10 for children, up to 10 years of age).  During the weekend it is required that a guest be accompanied by a club member but the same fee requirement continues.
